The Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, formerly known as the ‘Century Plaza’, is a Minoru Yamasaki-designed masterpiece, first built in 1966.

This project inclides one structure with 17 levels above grade and five below grade, 351 guest rooms, 49 suites, and 63 luxury condominium residences. Connected, subterranean parking consists of 1,600 stalls.The renovation of the hotel preserved numerous elements of the original architecture such as the classical balconies, gothic architecture, and anodized aluminum exterior. The hotel includes three dining options, most notably Lumière, a modern American brasserie – the materials for which, including vintage flooring, the entire bar, furniture, and art had been preserved from and imported to the United States from a restaurant that was more than 100 years old in Paris, France.

The Fairmont Century Plaza also includes an expansive hotel guest-only rooftop pool and bar, 24,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a catering kitchen, a grand ballroom with space for 1,500 guests, and a world-class 14,000 square foot wellness spa including a Himalayan salt room, experiential showers, aromatherapy steam room, a samarium, and Turkish bath hammam. The hotel also boasts the first and largest commercial retractable wall in the United States.
