Illumina Campus at Lincoln Centre located in Foster City, CA is a ground-up, Type I concrete and steel commercial and R&D facilities project. The project is designed by HOK. This GMP project totals 427,900 square feet throughout four structures ranging from two to four levels above grade. Connected parking totals 109,000 square feet and 1,397 stalls.
The biotech behemoth’s complex was designed to look and feel much like a collegiate campus, and houses thousands of square feet of wet labs, hundreds of scientists, dozens of conference rooms, rows of the world’s best DNA sequencing machines, and an open-office floor plan.
The Illumina campus’ amenities building includes a large café, called “The Hub”, a game room featuring gaming consoles with stadium-level seating, and a fitness center with 24/7 access. Webcor self-performed concrete, carpentry, and drywall.
