CSU Monterey North Quad located in Seaside, CA is a ground-up, Type V wood-frame higher education student housing project. The project is designed by Hornberger+Worstell. This design-build project totals 188,792 square feet throughout three structures with four levels above grade.
The three structures, Pinnacles, Vineyard and Strawberry Suites, provide 730 beds and include multiple layouts with each unit featuring a full kitchen and living rooms with ground-floor lobbies and study lounges.
The scope called for the grading, underground utilities, landscaping, irrigation systems, site lighting, new parking and repair to existing parking, and pedestrian walkways over 11 acres.
