PARAGON BAR AND CAFE, BERKELEY, CA

The Paragon Café is located in the famous Claremont Hotel and Resort in the Berkeley Hills. The owners wanted to create an upscale new restaurant to compliment the acclaimed spa while maintaining full operation of the facility. Although the restaurant is directly beneath conference and guest rooms and just above the spa, we successfully completed the work with minimal impact on the guests. By coordinating closely with hotel staff, we were able to schedule the work around resort events and work within the confines of restricted restaurant space. The project included the remodel of an existing dining room and full-service kitchen, the installation of fiber optic lighting, and the construction of an exterior wood deck with balustrade rails to compliment the hotel’s classic appearance. |
