BOEING ENCLAVE UTILITY, LONG BEACH, CA

The Boeing Enclave Utility Relocation Project is the first phase of the overall redevelopment of the existing 260- acre site by Boeing Realty Corporation called the PacifiCenter at Long Beach. The PacifiCenter at Long Beach is located on the north side of Long Beach Metro Airport. As part of the redevelopment, the current plant where the Boeing 717 aircraft and the C17 military transport aircraft are being manufactured is going through a major downsizing of operations. In order to keep the plant in operation and at the same time clear major areas for the PacifiCenter Development, this project entails both the installation of new as well as relocation, cutting and capping of existing utilities. The utilities being installed on this project are water, sewer, storm drain, natural gas, high voltage electrical, telecom, fiber optics and compressed air.
